This creation piece draws on a lecture discussing memory, emotion and reward lecture. The rendering of the nebulous clouds represent an abstraction of the interior of the brain. Each light is a memory, the source of which is clouded and obstructed, hidden behind layers of partial remembrance, obscuring the original memory. The audio is a heavily distorted “Toot Sweets” from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, an important childhood movie. It is the first film I have memories of watching, but after countless viewings, the first memory of it has long since also been obscured and distorted. The audio from the song bounces around in the large chasm of other memories, its source indeterminable as it echoes and layers on itself as memories do.
